The Factory is open to the public and is known for its dynamic approach, the diversity of its activities, and its international outreach.

Shipbuilding, the international boatbuilding school, the ship modelling workshop, the young sailors’ club, the “Theatre of the Sea” program of performing arts, and the Auzolan volunteer group make up this creative universe, whose aim is to bring the Basque Country’s maritime past to the general public.

The Factory is the place where people embark on incredible journeys. We seek knowledge through experience, and are thus part of the Basque Maritime Heritage.
